In late December, 2025, the Dalhousie Community Association (“DCA”) was circulated on the second Rowhouse development permit application for Dalhousie. The DCA observed that a notice board has been posted on the site of the proposed development.
The DCA recognizes that the benefits and challenges of these types of developments in established communities have been discussed by various organizations over the years and particularly through the course of the rezoning for housing debate at City Council.
If you have an interest in reviewing the plans and providing comments, you can do so through the City of Calgary Development Map through the following link with a stated deadline for comments by Monday, January 12th, 2026 provided to the DCA in the Circulation Package we received.

It is important that comments are provided to the File Manager through the form or the contact information given on the Development Map site. While it can be helpful to provide a copy of any comments to our Councilor, the decision on this application is made by the City Administration through the File Manager.
Please note that the DCA does not have any authority in the decision-making process for development permit applications in our community. This is solely in the hands of the City. The DCA is only able to provide comments for consideration by the City.
