Practicing yoga outdoors can strengthen the mind-body connection while helping to reduce stress and improve overall well-being. Fresh air, natural sunlight and Vitamin D, and time in nature can help boost mood, encourage relaxation, and support mindfulness. Surrounded by the natural environment, outdoor yoga invites you to slow down, stay present, and connect more deeply with yourself and the world around you.
Yoga Instructor
Joanna has been teaching Yoga for over 15 years and believes it offers far more than physical movement. It provides tools for healing, balance, and personal transformation. Through Yoga, she has witnessed the power of breath, awareness, and movement to support healing from pain and injury, build resilience, and foster deeper connection and well-being.
She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through The Yoga Studio College of Canada, followed by advanced training in Yoga, mobility, Yin Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. Joanna has also taught at several Calgary studios and wellness centres, bringing years of experience to her classes.
In addition to Yoga, Joanna is a trained Sound Healing Facilitator, incorporating crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and other therapeutic instruments to promote relaxation and support the body’s natural healing response.
Joanna’s classes are calming, welcoming, and focused on helping participants improve mobility, reduce stress, and create greater balance in body and mind.
