Fixers are hands-on volunteers who help community members repair everyday items and learn practical skills. At repair events, fixers work alongside participants to assess and fix items such as small household appliances, clothing, or bikes, sharing knowledge rather than simply doing the repair for them.
This role is perfect for people who enjoy tinkering, problem-solving, and helping others. Fixers don’t need to be professionals, just willing to share their skills, support learning, and contribute to a more sustainable, low-waste community.

*Please note that the repair exchange does not accept items that are ‘dropped-off’ and individuals must stay with their items and participate in the program to benefit from the repairs.
