Your incredible support for the Veterans Food Drive made a real difference. The need in our city continues, and we’ve been invited to help once again—this time through the Calgary Food Bank Councillor’s Challenge. Let’s continue showing the strength and generosity of our community.
City Councillor DJ Kelly has challenged community associations across Ward 4 to join this year’s Calgary Food Bank Councillor’s Challenge. Yesterday, he and fellow councillors helped bag an incredible 6,340 pounds of potatoes for local families.
The need is real:
✨ 800 Calgarians rely on the Food Bank every day
✨ New clients are waiting up to 20 days for support
✨ The Food Bank has only three weeks of inventory in a 65,000 sq. ft. warehouse
