Community Cleanup Success
Thank You for a Successful Community Cleanup!
A huge thank you to the City of Calgary for Dalhousie’s Community Cleanup and helping residents responsibly dispose of unwanted items.
Thanks to this partnership, four City waste trucks were filled (17,960 kg), 2.3 metric tonnes of electronic and electrical materials were diverted for recycling, and more than 150 bicycles were collected for refurbishing and reuse. Additional totals for metal recycling, WINS donations, and paper shredding will be shared soon.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the 11 dedicated volunteers (included DJ Kelly, Ward 4 Councillor) who came out to help make the day a success. Your time and hard work helped keep the event running smoothly and made a real difference for our community!

To Donate Clothing year round, please drop off in the Big Mouth Bin in the NW corner of the DCA parking lot.
