Dalhousie Crime Activity was Down in July 2021

The Dalhousie community experienced 11 crimes in July 2021, in comparison to 14 crimes the previous month, and 12 crimes in July one year ago. Dalhousie experiences an average of 12.8 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Dalhousie experienced a total of 153 crimes as of July 2021, which is up 3% in comparison to 149 crimes as of July 2020. Total Dalhousie crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

The Dalhousie community experienced 5 break and enter (B&E) crimes in July, in comparison to 1 B&E crime in June and 1 B&E crime in July 2020. On an annual basis, Dalhousie experienced a total of 25 B&E crimes as of July 2021, which is up from 19 B&E crimes as of July 2020.

Dalhousie experienced 4 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in July 2021, in comparison to 5 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 8 vehicle related crimes in July 2020. On an annual basis, Dalhousie experienced a total of 84 vehicle related crimes as of July 2021, which is down in comparison to 93 vehicle related crimes as of July 2020.
